Men Who Lead Well | masculinity, insecurity, marriage, dad, faith, husband

Are insecurity, anger, or stress creating disconnection in your marriage or home? As a Christian husband or dad, do you feel the weight of leading your family spiritually, emotionally, and financially — but often feel inadequate, unsure, or overwhelmed?  Do you feel like you’re supposed to have it altogether but don’t?

If that’s you, you’re not alone. You’re in the right place!

This podcast is for Christian men who want clarity in their identity, confidence in their leadership, connection in their marriage, and strength in raising children who love Jesus.

Hey, I’m Glenn — husband, dad, and Christ follower. For years I tried leading my family on my own strength. I struggled with communication in marriage, emotional ups and downs, and misunderstood what biblical masculinity looked like.

I finally realized that if I wanted peace in my home, my understanding of leadership needed an overhaul from God. Through the Word, God rebuilt my identity, communication skills, and leadership one brick at a time.

If you’re ready to lead with confidence, create more peace in your home, and become a steady, Christ-centered husband and father — you don’t have to figure this out alone; let’s walk this road together.

So pause the world for a minute and let’s hang out!

Hey Men,
If someone secretly recorded your conversations for a week, would your words build people up—or tear them down?
Could the criticism, sarcasm, or negativity coming out of your mouth actually be revealing a deeper insecurity inside of you?
What if the cycle of insecurity in your family is being passed from generation to generation through words—and you're the one who can stop it?
The words you speak have more power than you may realize, especially in your marriage, your family, and your own mind. In this episode, Glenn explores how insecurity often creates a destructive cycle of criticism, negativity, and verbal hurt that gets passed from one generation to the next. Drawing from personal experiences and Scripture, he explains how words shape identity and why men who want to lead well must learn to speak life instead of tearing others down. You'll discover how your conversations with your wife, your children, and even yourself can either build confidence and trust or reinforce insecurity and fear. If you want to break unhealthy patterns, strengthen your relationships, and become a man whose words bring life, this episode will show you where to start.

Hey Dads,
Has work become so central to your life that your wife and kids are getting whatever time and energy you have left over?
When you're home, are you truly present with your family—or is your mind still at work?
Is it easier to give screen time to your kids than dad time?
Why do so many fathers feel overwhelmed, stretched thin, and unsure if they're getting the important things right? In this episode, Glenn shares a season of life when work, school, family, and ministry all competed for his attention, leaving him struggling to keep his priorities aligned. He explains why many dads feel unprepared—not because they lack ability, but because their priorities have become disordered. You'll learn a practical framework for putting your relationship with God, your wife, your children, and your work in their proper place so you can lead your family with greater confidence and purpose. If you're a husband or father trying to navigate the demands of life without losing what matters most, this episode will help you refocus on what truly deserves your attention.

Hey Men,
Do you find yourself blaming your wife, your circumstances, or other people when things don't go the way you hoped?
Are you leading your family as a servant, or are you waiting for others to serve you?
Could insecurity be the real reason you feel hesitant, passive, or unprepared to lead?
Does insecurity quietly undermine your ability to lead as a husband, father, or Christian man? In this episode, Glenn explores how insecurity often shows up as blame-shifting, avoidance, and a reluctance to take responsibility for the things God has entrusted to us. Drawing from his time in the Army and the story of Adam and Eve, he explains why strong leadership begins with personal ownership, integrity, and servant-hearted responsibility. You'll learn how biblical leadership is not about privilege or control, but about serving your family with character, humility, and purpose. If you want to grow in confidence, strengthen your marriage, and become a more effective leader at home, this episode provides a practical foundation to build on.

Men,
Have you ever felt like nobody clearly taught you what it means to be a man, husband, or father?
Are you leading your family with love and purpose—or are you just trying to survive the pressures of everyday life?
If God designed men to lead, protect, and serve, why do so many husbands and fathers still feel inadequate and unprepared?
Why do so many men feel confused about masculinity and struggle to lead well in marriage and fatherhood? In this episode, Glenn explores how culture's changing definitions of manhood have left many husbands and fathers uncertain about their identity and responsibilities. Looking at Scripture, he explains that men are created in God's image and called to be leaders, protectors, and servants who lead with love rather than control or domination. You'll discover why biblical leadership is a responsibility, not a privilege, and how true masculinity is rooted in sacrificial love, service, and a God-given identity. If you've ever felt inadequate as a husband, father, or spiritual leader, this episode offers a biblical foundation for understanding what it means to lead well.

Men,
When stress, disappointment, or frustration hit, are you choosing your response—or are your emotions choosing it for you?
What if the biggest problem isn't your anger—but the beliefs and thought patterns fueling it?
Does impatience rear its ugly head frequently in your life, especially. when you’re driving?
Do anger and impatience seem to show up most when you're under pressure at home? In this episode, Glenn shares a personal story of losing his temper with his young children and explains why anger is often the result of deeper issues happening beneath the surface. Drawing from Scripture, he explores how your identity in Christ, the renewing of your mind, and understanding who God says you are can transform the way you respond to difficult situations. You'll learn why self-control is already available to every believer and discover three practical steps to develop greater emotional regulation in everyday life. If you're a husband, father, or Christian man who wants to respond with more peace, patience, and confidence, this episode will give you a biblical path forward.

Men,
Have you ever felt completely unprepared for a challenge in your marriage or family and responded out of fear instead of faith?
Are you trusting God to provide and lead you—or are you secretly carrying the weight of everything on your own shoulders?
What if the reason you feel unprepared isn't a lack of ability, but a lack of trust in God's provision and promises?
Why do so many husbands and fathers feel unprepared when life suddenly demands more from them? In this episode, Glenn shares a personal story from early in his marriage and explains how fear, insecurity, and misplaced trust can leave men feeling overwhelmed in moments that require leadership.
